Mimi and Grandpa

My parents took some time off of work and made the rounds visiting family.  We were so excited for their visit!  They arrived Thursday evening.  They called when they weren't far away, so Cohen and I went out to meet them when we thought they should be getting close.  As we walked outside I got a phone call with a "how do we get there...the gps is taking us in circles!"  They were downtown and those comments were followed by "please tell me you don't live here."  Haha!  They made it safely and we got them all set up.  Friday morning we went for a walk on campus and toured a nice garden area.  After Cohen's morning nap we went to pick up Sterling from school.  We headed over to the Inner Harbor and had some excellent seafood outside on the water.  Then we went to check out the Baltimore Aquarium.  We hadn't been yet, and it was amazing!  So glad we went (in fact, we got year passes).

We had a little bit of a wait for lunch, so we explored the Harbor a bit.  We had excellent weather, but besides the sun Mimi was soaking in all of these loves from Cohen.

Dad, me, and Cohen (we're from Florida and we're still checking out the gators. You'd think we'd seen plenty already)

They had a jellyfish exhibit, which Cohen (and we) LOVED

These were his favorite

Pretty tired boy.

Then on Saturday we headed up to Philadelphia.  We stopped for some authentic cheese steaks and then went over to check out the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.

We had such a great time!  In addition to the fun, I always had a clean kitchen and folded laundry! (Thanks Mimi!)
